The Awakening – Week 1 of The Identity Reset
Have you ever sat in a room full of people you love—maybe even people who love you—and felt like you’re not fully there?
Not because you’re ungrateful. Not because something terrible is happening. But because somewhere along the way, you kind of slipped out of your own life. You did all the right things. You checked the boxes. You became who you were supposed to become. And yet, quietly, something doesn’t feel quite right anymore.
That feeling isn’t weird. It’s not dramatic. It’s not “too much.”
It’s called disconnection. And it’s way more common than we admit.
This isn’t a burnout post or a self-help cliché. This is about the strange ache that shows up when your life looks fine—but it stopped feeling like yours. When your schedule is full, your responsibilities are handled, your people are proud of you… but inside, you feel like you’re missing from your own story.
This is where The Identity Reset begins.
I created this five-week series because I know that feeling too well. The moment you realize you’ve spent years becoming someone that made life easier for other people—more acceptable, more likable, more useful—and now you don’t even know what’s real anymore. Not because you did anything wrong. But because you adapted. You did what you had to do. You survived.
And now you’re ready to stop surviving and start belonging to yourself again.
This first week is called The Awakening because that’s what it is. Not some dramatic reinvention. Not some “quit your life and find your purpose” thing. It’s a quiet moment of seeing clearly for the first time in a long time. You start noticing which parts of you are real—and which ones were built for approval.
You’ll notice the way you describe yourself:
“I’m just the kind of person who always helps.”
“People count on me to keep it together.”
“I’ve always been the strong one.”
That’s not identity. That’s a script.
And when you start to notice the script, you can begin to choose again.
So this week, I’m inviting you into that first shift.
I recorded a short, gentle video to walk you through it. It’s not a “pep talk.” It’s not a motivational monologue. It’s just me and you—naming what’s been quietly off, and starting to loosen the grip of the version of you that was built for survival, not authenticity.
I also made you a companion journal for this week. It’s free. It’s simple. And honestly? It’s powerful. There’s one question inside that could bring you back to your real voice.
